(Crankers) Erika Kirk offered forgiveness to the man who shot and killed her husband, Charlie Kirk.
Erika said this during Charlie’s memorial services on Sunday: “My husband Charlie he wanted to save young men, just like the one who took his life…On the cross, our savior said, ‘Father, forgive them, for they not know what they do.’ That young man. I forgive him.”
The forgiveness aligns with their faith and shows signs of compassion during one of the hardest times of her life. Erika wishes to set an example out of faith, rather than anger and revenge.
In some old videos of her and Charlie, it appears that Erika is the more Conservative of the pair.
She is now the Turning Point USA CEO and she plans to continue Charlie’s message. After what happened, it appears that message will only grow and the audience will grow with it.
