Elon torched Trump's 'pork-filled' bill, Thune tries to cover for it

John Thune (R-SD) responded to Elon Musk calling out Trump's administration for coming up with a big not-so-beautiful bill that adds to the deficit. Elon was picked to come in and make things more efficient, only to have his work thrown in his face by the big overspending bill. Elon called them out, saying: "I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it."

Thune tries to cover it up, saying: "We obviously respect everything that Elon did with DOGE. On this particular issue, we have a difference of opinion."

Nah, the big, beautiful bill is a disaster and everyone knows it. FIX IT or get primaried.
