Woman Vandalizes Trump Supporters' Homes, Says NJ Lets It Slide

A 21-year-old woman from Augusta, Georgia has been arrested after allegedly going on a multi-day campaign of vandalism and threats against two neighboring Trump supporters in the Hillbrook subdivision of Martinez. Armani Faith Obregon now faces charges of terroristic threats and acts, unlawful dumping, and two counts of second-degree criminal damage to property, as reported by The American Tribune.

According to Columbia County investigators, Obregon's alleged spree kicked off on June 28, 2026, when she apparently decided that some yard signs supporting President Donald Trump were simply too much to bear. At the first home, she is accused of puncturing two tires on a Nissan Sentra and damaging a MAGA sign, causing around $600 in damage. At the neighboring home, she allegedly went even harder: three slashed tires on a Honda Accord, a hole punched in the vehicle's trunk, another pro-Trump sign damaged, and an egging of the house for good measure. That round of fun cost an estimated $1,500.

But apparently tire slashing and egg throwing did not fully scratch the itch. Two days later, one of the homeowners found trash scattered around her mailbox and eight pages of handwritten notes stuffed inside, all in red ink, because nothing says "I am a calm and rational person" like writing threatening letters in red ink. The notes included such gems as "Burn in flames" and "You're so lucky my West Point father talked me out of rocking and burning your house... get ready for so much worse." The letters also promised the writer would "keep coming back, making each day/night worse for you and your home," according to The Augusta Press.

The homeowner's doorbell camera did not capture anyone approaching the mailbox, but a neighbor's surveillance system told a different story. Footage showed a woman driving a gray Ford Taurus into the neighborhood, parking, walking to the mailbox with a white trash bag and stack of papers, dumping the trash, stuffing the letters inside, then sprinting back to her car while screaming profanities about Trump and the homeowner. Subtle.

Police located Obregon during a traffic stop on July 2 and identified her from the footage. Major Shedd told reporters, "She pretty much admitted it." And then came the real kicker. Obregon, who currently lives in Georgia but is originally from New Jersey, offered this defense for her actions: "People in New Jersey don't really get into trouble for this stuff."

Well, welcome to Georgia, where slashing tires, threatening arson, and dumping trash on people's lawns because you disagree with their yard signs does, in fact, get you into trouble. Someone should have Googled the local laws before launching a one-woman reign of terror over some signs. The charges she now faces carry real consequences, which is probably going to come as quite the culture shock.
