Trump Calls Fox News Anchor a Sleazebag Over Dem Guest

President Donald Trump decided to spend part of his day doing what he does best: roasting people on Truth Social. This time the target was Fox News, specifically anchor Jacqui Heinrich, for having the audacity to let Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) appear on the network and say things Trump did not appreciate. As The American Tribune reported, the president went on a full broadside against the network, its guest choices, and a handful of other public figures he considers unworthy of airtime.

Trump called Khanna a "wolf in sheep's clothing" and accused him of nonstop lying, then blamed Heinrich for not pushing back. "You could listen to FoxNews all day long, absolutely devour it, but then, when you hear SLEAZEBAGS, like Congressman Ro Khanna, 'a wolf in sheep's clothing,' LIE, LIE, LIE, AND LIE AGAIN, without any pushback, or competent rebuttal from an anchor, in this case, Jacqui Heinrich, the entire Common Sense dialogue that has been going on all day at Fox is completely obliterated," Trump wrote.

But why stop at one person when you can roast several? Trump also took shots at Bill Maher, calling him "Low Rated," and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, whom he described as "very Low IQ" and someone who "considers the Supreme Court 'illegitimate,' and probably hates our Country." So basically it was a typical Tuesday on Truth Social.

The president argued that every time Fox brings on these guests it destroys whatever credibility the network builds during the rest of its programming. "No matter how 'Fair and Balanced' the day's News at Fox may be, the end result is destroyed by professional Liars, Conmen, and Liberal, Crooked Politicians," he wrote, adding that this is why "MAGA Republicans, who are actually close to 100% of the Party, hate Fox."

He did throw a bone to certain Fox personalities, acknowledging the "wonderful contributions made by so many of their great anchors and commentators," which is the presidential equivalent of saying "no offense" right before saying something very offensive.

Trump's followers on Truth Social jumped right in with their own grievances. One commenter said only the opinion shows like Jesse Watters, Hannity, Fox and Friends, and Maria Bartiromo are worth watching. Another said they stopped watching Fox entirely after the 2020 election Arizona call. A third complained that even Newsmax sometimes comes across as "schizophrenic" in its coverage.

So to recap the situation: the President of the United States is publicly feuding with the one major cable news network that is most sympathetic to him because it occasionally lets a Democrat speak on camera. The man who once hosted a reality show where the entire premise was confrontation is upset that a news anchor did not confront her guest hard enough. You really cannot make this stuff up, mostly because Trump will just post it himself before you get the chance.
