On Sunday, a teen had to be rescued by lifeguards at Sunset Cliffs after getting hurt while jumping from a cliff ledge. A video shared on social media shows the 17-year-old leaping off, hitting the edge of the cliff, and landing in the water around 4:30 p.m. At least six people jumped in to help pull him to safety. The video also shows him conscious, sitting on a ledge surrounded by several people just before lifeguards arrived. Rescuers then helped him up the cliffs and took him to the hospital with a leg injury, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
