Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett criticized those making threats against her and her family, saying her children are now affected.
She revealed that security provided her with a bulletproof vest, which she keeps at home for use whenever needed.
Barrett said: "6 weeks ago, I was the victim of a SWATTING incident. My teenage son opened the door and saw in our street full of police cars who responded to a false report of gun shots in my home... Supreme Court police explained that it was a false alarm, the police did not actually attempt to enter our home.... Many of us including me have received threatening anonymous deliveries to harass and intimidate us... She's getting deliveries in the name of a deceased judge's son who was killed... The threat level is really high."
