Remember the $24 billion in homeless funding Gavin Newsom was accused of “losing”? Turns out, it was directed to some of the world’s most profitable organizations: NGOs.
One NGO received $23 million from Democrats and spent it on a mansion in Los Angeles, a $125,000 Land Rover, and a second home in Greece.
The scheme was uncovered by Bill Essayli, United States Attorney for the Central District of California, who has found 12 more NGOs across the state under investigation for similar fraud.
This, in part, explains how U.S. NGOs have built up $14.2 trillion in assets, which is about half of the U.S. national debt.
