(Crankers) Super Bowl LVIII was a little bit on the boring side. It felt like an Usher concert with a pre-show and post-show football game. Not too much was exciting about the game, but the Kansas City Chiefs ended up beating the San Francisco 49ers in overtime when quarterback Patrick Mahomes rolled right, threw a dart to wide receiver Mecole Hardman in the end zone, putting the 49ers down like a sick animal and sending the fans home in tears.
But that really wasn’t the highlight of the game. The real highlight was when tight end Travis Kelce was caught on camera screaming at Chiefs coach Andy Reid. That became an instant meme across the internet, but my favorite was the meme saying “we better win or Taylor is gonna break up with me and write a song about it!” And that’s almost true, too! If they break up, then you know she’s gonna write something about it.
In other Super Bowl news, the Chiefs won 25-22 and they only showed Taylor Swift a handful of times during the game. She was smooching with Travis after the game and the media showed that. But they also showed a lot of other celebrities that were at Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas. It was one of the more boring games, but whatever. Now I can cancel my YouTube TV until football season starts next September. Go Birds.
