(Crankers) That’s who you voted for: Joy Behar shames Ohio Trump supporters
Joy Behar, co-host on The View, suggested that people in Ohio who voted for Donald Trump were to blame for the toxic train derailment in East Palestine. During the segment, Joy Behar said loudly: “That’s who you voted for! In that district. Donald Trump, who reduces all safety. He did in those days.” Of course, that is her opinion and not a fact, but it was a very bad comment for her to make.
Oddly enough, another co-host, Sunny Hostin, was offering praise about Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Joe Biden’s Transportation Secretary, who didn’t bother to visit East Palestine until WEEKS after the train derailment. Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump was there handing out water and supplies while Joe Biden was traipsing around Ukraine and Poland and his wife, Jill, was visiting Africa.
It was nice to see Sara Haines, the other co-host, stand up for Donald Trump by saying if the people of Ohio need water, then it shouldn’t matter who delivered it. The important thing is that they got some of the help they deserved and needed. But Joy Behar couldn’t let it go. She continued to make this about former President Donald Trump and Republicans, blaming the Ohioans when she said: “That’s who you voted for, in that district… Donald Trump, who reduces all safety. He did, in those days.” Trump wanted less regulations while he was president, but that does not mean he wanted less safety.
