(Crankers) Remember Rick Moranis from the classic “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids?” Well, he dropped off the map all the way back in 1997, somewhat retiring from acting, and only making subtle appearances in things like voice-overs – but mostly stayed out of the public eye all this time. He has a little role in a spinoff of “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids” to be seen on Disney+, but beyond that, Moranis hasn’t been seen very often.

And here he is now in a new commercial alongside Hollywood star, Ryan Reynolds, in a commercial for Mint Mobile, a company he apparently owns part of.

The commercial starts off with Ryan Reynolds talking, but then Rick Moranis shows up on the left of the screen saying things like “why am I here” and looking confused as if someone just dug him out of a cave and threw him on the big screen.

Moranis and Reynolds have a humorous chat and many of us can literally say, wow, it’s great to see Rick Moranis again! How many of us have wondered where he’s been and what he’s been up to?

Well, now you somewhat know! I can’t speak for how good Mint Mobile is, but at least the commercial got us all nostalgic pairing Moranis with Reynold’s, who’s one of today’s biggest and most well-liked stars. Reynolds has been in huge hits like Van Wilder, 6 Underground, and Deadpool.
