(Crankers) You gotta be kidding me. Linda Hamilton is joining Stranger Things for season 5 and it’s gonna be epic. Well, it better be epic otherwise I’ll be pretty ticked off. The Terminator superstar could be perfect for defeating the evil within and it makes sense considering she’s a big 90’s star. I guess Linda will join Winona Ryder and the squad when they battle Vecna, and like Vecna likes to say “it’s time…”
Yeah, time for an ass kickin’, buddy! If Linda Hamilton can withstand the destructive forces in Terminator movies, then Vecna will be light work for this epic Hollywood star. Netflix announced Linda Hamilton’s appearance in Stranger Things Season 5 on Twitter:

Meanwhile, if you’re looking for a sneak peak at the script or a leaked script, then don’t get your hopes up. IGN reports they’re not filming anything after that dust settles. Maybe they’re secretly working on it in their own upside down world when they’re bored, but clearly they wouldn’t ever admit it or show it. To be fair, if you weren’t going to work all day and you were bored, then you’d probably be drumming up ideas for Stranger Things in your boredom, strictly out of your passion for it. That’s just me though, I’d be bored and have to work on the downlow if I had a few cups of coffee and the ideas were brewing.
The announcement was the biggest takeaway from Stranger Things’ time at Tudum, as it has no Season 5 footage to show at the moment. It was originally set to start production this month, but showrunners Matt and Ross Duffer (better known as the Duffer brothers) confirmed in May that filming would not begin while the writers’ strike continues.
