Fox News anchor Julie Banderas dropped some highly unusual and major life-changing news on live TV during the network’s hit late-night comedy show “Gutfeld!” starring Greg Gutfeld. The topic was Valentine’s Day, which is Tuesday and is typically a day for romance, gift exchanges, and love.
Banderas actually teased her announcement on Twitter hours before the show. The mother of three, 49, hinted at what was to come, writing: “Tune into @gutfeldfox tonight at 11 pm ET. I have a little announcement at the end of the show. (During the Valentine’s Day segment ironically).”
During the segment and after Tyre downplayed the approaching occasion, Gutfeld asked Banderas if she was ‘going to get anything, and she fired back: “F**k Valentine’s Day. Yeah, it’s stupid. Even when I was married I didn’t get s**t for Valentine’s Day…” Then she dropped the bombshell: “Well, I’m getting a divorce, I’m going to go ahead and say it right here for the very first time.
“Congratulations are in order, if you know me, you’d clap. That was breaking news, right there,” she said, before launching into Valentine’s Day hate again. “It’s stupid, it’s absolutely ridiculous. By the way, guys, if you are going to get your girl flowers, don’t bring them to her in a box. That’s the only advice I’ve got for you. If you come to be in a box, you better be dead,” she said.
