Donald Trump absolutely blasted Fox News anchor Shannon Bream in a scorching social media tirade.

The president took to Truth Social and compared watching Bream's program to tuning into CNN, as reported after a Fox News Sunday segment that clearly got under his skin. What set him off? Bream's interview with freshly confirmed Attorney General Todd Blanche, during which she grilled him about whether he could remain independent if Trump attempted to meddle in federal legal proceedings.

Blanche swatted the question away without hesitation. He told Bream that the president would never request anything unethical or unlawful from him, and insisted it has never happened and never will.

But that line of questioning alone was enough to send Trump into full attack mode.

On Truth Social, the president wrote that tuning into Bream's show felt like watching the absolute worst of what he calls Fake News CNN. He claimed she consistently books guests, uses polling data, and displays graphics that paint him and his administration in a negative light. According to Trump, Bream never highlights the accomplishments he considers extraordinary, including progress on border security, stock market performance, and military operations connected to Iran and Venezuela.

Then came the real dagger. Trump declared her entire program "beyond redemption" and predicted that her ratings would crater because the MAGA base, which he says represents nearly the entire Republican Party, recognizes the bias.

As if that wasn't brutal enough, Trump dragged former Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace into the conversation for a devastating comparison. Wallace departed Fox back in 2021 and landed at CNN, a move that was widely seen as a betrayal by conservative viewers. Trump wrote that while Wallace was bad, Bream is somehow even worse. Ouch.

This kind of public feuding with media personalities is absolutely nothing new for this president. Throughout both of his terms in office, Trump has repeatedly clashed with journalists and anchors across every network. What makes this situation particularly spicy is that Fox News generally provides favorable coverage of his administration. But Trump has never given anyone a free pass when he feels the coverage crosses a line or mirrors what liberal outlets produce.

CNN remains the president's number one media nemesis. He has spent years accusing the network of deliberately pushing a far left agenda specifically crafted to undermine his record. That ongoing rivalry is precisely why he invoked CNN's name while going after Bream.

The big question now is whether Bream responds, stays quiet, or if Fox News leadership steps in to smooth things over. One thing is certain, being on Trump's radar is never a comfortable place, even if you work at the network he watches most.
