Rosie O'Donnell went absolutely nuclear on Fox News anchor Jesse Watters from a hair salon chair.
The former talk show host unleashed a blistering TikTok tirade after a Fox News production team allegedly ambushed her outside the Daryl Roth Theatre in New York, where she's been performing her autobiographical solo Off-Broadway production called Common Knowledge, as reported in detail.
According to O'Donnell, the crew rushed toward her vehicle the moment she stepped out, shouting that Watters was eager to speak with her. She was clearly not having it. In the caption on her viral clip, she wrote that Fox's team "ran in mass screaming" about Watters wanting a conversation, then told them she had zero interest in engaging with the network she called "fox (we lie to Americans) news."
But she wasn't done. Not even close.
While sitting in a styling chair getting her locks done, O'Donnell recorded herself delivering a pointed message to Watters and what she called his "gang of unruly reporter yellers." She flatly refused to take any questions from the Fox host, saying she's never tuned into his program and has absolutely no plans to start. She cited things she's read about his comments regarding women and took a swipe at his professional origins on the Bill O'Reilly program.
Then she told Watters to stay completely out of her "orbit." Bold words from someone who just got back from fleeing the country.
That's right. O'Donnell had previously relocated to Ireland following the reelection of President Donald Trump. She apparently decided the Emerald Isle wasn't cutting it anymore and came back stateside, just in time to land a pretty high-profile television gig.
The whole saga picked up fresh momentum in mid-August when O'Donnell kicked off a four-night stint as guest host of Jimmy Kimmel Live. During her opening monologue, she referred to the president as "Mango Mussolini" and suggested Trump himself was watching her broadcast. Because of course she did.
Conservative commentator Benny Johnson couldn't resist piling on, posting on social media that putting O'Donnell on Kimmel's show was essentially a speedrun tutorial on destroying ratings. He called her "TDS patient zero" and said the jokes practically wrote themselves.
So let's get this straight. She bolted to Ireland because of Trump, came back anyway, got confronted by Fox News cameras outside her theater gig, recorded a furious response from a salon, then landed on late night television where she immediately went after the president with a fruit-themed nickname.
Politics in 2026 is truly something else. You can't script this kind of chaos. One minute you're dodging camera crews outside a theater, the next you're sitting in Jimmy Kimmel's chair lobbing insults at the commander in chief on national television.
Never a dull moment with this one.
