Police in eastern England reported on Thursday that a man had been taken into custody on suspicion of attempted murder after a 3-year-old boy somehow ended up in the crocodile enclosure at a zoo. In other words, the man threw the boy into the pit.
According to Cambridgeshire Constabulary, the child suffered serious injuries and is currently in critical but stable condition at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
Authorities did not clarify how the injuries occurred or confirm if they were caused by a crocodile.
They stated that a 30-year-old man from Norfolk has been arrested, and specially trained officers are providing support to the boy’s family at the hospital.
Detect from the major crime unit are investigating the incident, which took place at Johnsons of Old Hurst, a site that serves as a zoo, farm shop, and café located about 20 miles northwest of Cambridge.
They didn't release the suspect's name because it's probably another migrant criminal.
