One fan wrote that Watters always claims some big assignment is pulling him away and questioned why he can't simply tell people he's spending time with his family. Watters holds two of the most prominent slots on Fox News, anchoring the 8 p.m. weekday program "Jesse Watters Primetime" while also sitting on the panel of "The Five." That kind of visibility means even a routine absence gets scrutinized heavily.
The real lesson here is pretty straightforward. In the age of social media, your spouse's Instagram can become your biggest liability. Watters' fans aren't mad he took family time. They're mad he didn't just own it.
