Jen Pawol made history as the first female umpire to work a regular-season Major League Baseball (MLB) game. She debuted on August 9, 2025, during a doubleheader between the Miami Marlins and Atlanta Braves at Truist Park.
Pawol, who joined the MLB Call-Up Umpire list as one of the Triple-A umpires eligible for major league substitutions, spent nearly a decade working her way through the minor leagues.
And the result? She was 110% terrible, missed easy calls, and lost her cool - proving exactly why this is a job for men. Pawol was terrible and both teams couldn't stand her. The fans could see how bad it was. Just a disaster of a day for baseball.
Stop being stupid and just put the best people for the job IN THE JOB!
