And according to Senator Ron Johnson, who revealed his initial findings on NewsNation Friday evening, the device contained a jaw dropping 34,000 text messages and 522 voicemails. But here is the part that has everyone losing their minds. Only THREE contacts were saved on the entire phone.

The vast majority of those messages were connected to bare phone numbers with zero names attached. No identifiers. No digital breadcrumbs leading back to whoever was on the receiving end.

Tipping them off with full access to all recovered data could compromise truthful responses.
The Wisconsin Senator also confirmed plans to coordinate closely with Rand Paul and his staff to publish findings together. That calculated approach carries far more weight than scattering documents everywhere for media outlets to selectively highlight whatever fits their preferred narrative.
Now consider the broader picture that makes this discovery absolutely explosive. Fauci's own diary reportedly documented instructions to Francis Collins about deleting a sensitive email regarding COVID origins. His colleague David Morens, who now faces multiple federal charges including destruction of government records, used personal email accounts specifically to dodge public records requests. And when Fauci sat before the Senate committee to address COVID origins and gain of function research, he invoked his Fifth Amendment rights a staggering 111 times.
A pattern emerges that is impossible to ignore. Someone whose pandemic era communications repeatedly sidestepped official channels also happened to maintain just three saved contacts across nearly a decade of iPhone usage. Johnson put it bluntly, noting that neither he nor his staff can guarantee everything on that device was properly preserved.
The investigation is far from over. Researchers are tracking down the anonymous numbers behind those thousands of texts. A contempt referral currently sits with the Department of Justice. The recovered phone data rests in the hands of Johnson and Paul. Florida has its own active state level investigation running simultaneously.
