Driver claims FORD shut off their Bronco over one missed payment

Ford reportedly shut off a brand-new Bronco on a busy expressway over just one late payment. The owner, driving a vehicle with only 3,000 miles on it, had the engine disabled while cruising at 60 mph.

Now he’s stranded on the roadside as traffic flies past, saying this could have gotten him killed and that Ford has no idea how hard things are out there.

He even questions if this might be some kind of scam. It raises serious questions we should all be asking: How is it legal or safe for a company to remotely disable a car while it’s moving on a public highway? And what happens if this occurs again?
