Earlier this month, an 18-year-old woman was found dead in a home owned by the husband of Massachusetts Rep. Ayanna Pressley, and police have confirmed it was a murder.
Yoseliani Ann Marte Ocasio of Boston was discovered on July 18 with an apparent gunshot wound at 25 Malta Road, a property belonging to Pressley’s husband, Conan Harris.
The Chief Medical Examiner has ruled her death a homicide, though no arrests have been made.
Speaking briefly to NewsCenter 5, Harris expressed that the community is mourning and emphasized focusing on the victim to support her family.
The victim’s grandmother previously shared that her granddaughter’s death resulted from domestic violence.
