A federal judge delivered bad news to the Trump administration when she ordered an indefinite stop to new construction and the shutdown of ‘Alligator Alcatraz’ in Florida. It was U.S. District Judge Kathleen Williams who ordered the shutdown and told Florida state officials to start removing the fencing, lights, generators and much of the other equipment that kept the holding facility running.
