(Crankers) Vice President JD Vance was upset that some Democrats and people in the media were criticizing prayer after a gunman shot up the Annunciation Catholic Church, killing two children and injuring 18 others in Minneapolis.
Vance said: “If you are a politician or you’re a media commentator and two beautiful babies just got murdered while praying, and your politics force you to condemn prayer in response to it, you ought to get new politics because something very wrong has gone on inside your soul.”
The incident was terrifying as the criminal, who is now deceased, opened fire through the windows of the church during the first week of school. One little girl was shot in the head and asked a bystander to “hold her hand” according to ABC News. A man named Pat Scallen said:
“They were very frightened. They wanted their mom and dad… And I just, I sat them down and just tried to keep them calm, and I was watching them close to see if there’d be any change in their status.”
Scallen was there and held her hand.
