Icelandic strongman Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (aka “Thor” and “The Mountain”) recently broke his own world record in the deadlift. Björnsson successfully deadlifted an astounding 510 kg (1,124.4 lb) at the 2025 World Deadlift Championships in Birmingham, England. This surpasses his previous world record of 505 kg, which he set in July 2025 at the Eisenhart Black Deadlift Championships. He first set the world record in May 2020 by deadlifting 501 kg at his home gym in Iceland. Watch Thor Björnsson set the record on video:
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) stopped providing special security for former Vice President Kamala Harris on Saturday, September 6, 2025, just days after it had begun. The temporary protection was initiated after President Trump rescinded her Secret Service detail. In late August 2025, President Trump canceled Harris’s Secret Service detail. Before leaving office, former President Joe Biden had extended the protection for his vice president beyond the standard six months, to an 18-month period that would have lasted until July 2026. In response to the termination of her federal protection, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) and the LAPD began…
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced the launch of “Operation Midway Blitz” on September 8, 2025. The immigration enforcement initiative targets undocumented immigrants, particularly those with criminal records, in Chicago and the state of Illinois. The operation has been met with both support from the Trump administration and backlash from Illinois officials and immigration advocates. According to DHS, the operation aims to target “criminal illegal aliens” whom the department claims have “flocked to Chicago and Illinois” due to sanctuary city policies. The initiative was named in honor of Katie Abraham, a 20-year-old from suburban Chicago who was killed…
ICE arrested a convicted sex offender who somehow still landed a job with the Minnesota Department of Education. The offender is Wilson Tindi and he worked as the Director of Internal Audit and Advisory Services at the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE). His appointment gained public attention in July 2025 due to a criminal conviction for sexual assault in 2016 that did not result in his deportation. In 2016, Tindi was convicted of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct for assaulting a sleeping woman after breaking into her home in Minnesota. He pleaded guilty in exchange for the dismissal of a first-degree…
The Philadelphia Phillies were fresh off a 1-0 win against the New York Mets. Pitcher Aaron Nola has returned from his long break due to injury and was making another start. He allowed 0 runs in the effort, after giving up 5 runs alone in a single inning during his last game. It was a bright spot for Nola and reporters were talking to him after the game. During the discussion, someone – most likely another Phillies player, had ripped a funny sounding fart and everyone started laughing. The Phillies fart was caught on video.
The Savannah Bananas recently trolled a Philadelphia Phillies fan, dubbed “Phillies Karen” by the internet, during their debut at Petco Park in San Diego by reenacting a viral incident where the fan tried to claim a home run ball from a child. The original incident occurred at LoanDepot Park during a Miami Marlins game when Harrison Bader hit a home run. A father caught the ball and was seen giving it to his 10-year-old son. A woman, later identified as the “Phillies Karen,” then confronted the father, demanding the ball back claiming it was hers. The interaction was captured on…
The Chicago Bears were booed off the field after their epic collapse to the visiting Minnesota Vikings. The Bears were up 17-6 at one point, then gave up 21 points in the 4th quarter while only scoring 7 more themselves. The final score had the Vikings beating the Bears 27-24 at Soldier Field. To add insults to the loss, the Bears lost to rookie quarterback JJ McCarthy on his first NFL start. Bears quarterback Caleb Williams didn’t help much, looking exceptionally off on many throws, with some wide receivers being completely open – and Williams simply overthrowing or not even…
A conversation between billionaire Mark Cuban and Tucker Carlson went viral for the wrong reasons. Cuban is a huge supporter of helping Ukraine during their conflict with Russia. Carlson asked him how much money he’s sent to help, and the answer was ZERO. Mark Cuban has a net worth in the billions. The conversation went something like this: CUBAN: “Half my family is Ukrainian… I think we should help.” TUCKER: “How much money have you sent to Ukraine?” CUBAN: “None.” TUCKER: “If you think we need to help, why don’t you start?” The conversation had critics saying that Cuban should…
Mayor Karen Bass expressed her distaste for the Supreme Court who recently lifted restrictions on ICE raids. The court ruled 6-3 to remove the restrictions and allow ICE to continue their work as they seek and deport illegal immigrants in major cities like Los Angeles. DHS issued a statement on social media, saying: “DHS law enforcement will continue to FLOOD THE ZONE in Los Angeles.” DHS also said the Supreme Court decision is “a victory for the safety of Americans in California and for the rule of law,” and that they will “arrest and remove the criminal” illegal immigrants that…
A boat carrying Greta Thunberg and other activists towards Gaza caught on fire and some people blamed a drone strike. However, there was no evidence of drones in the area. The video below also suggests that something was on fire above them, then landed on the boat and erupted into more flames. It’s very possible that someone on the boat fired a flare, then the flare dropped back onto the boat. An article on Newsweek talked about how the organizers of the boat, the Global Sumud Flotilla, had accused Israel of conducting a drone strike. However, Tunisian authorities reported there’s…
Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was exposed for spending thousands on hotels/spa during her “Fighting Oligarchy” tour with Sen. Bernie Sanders, according to campaign filings reported by the NY Post. AOC spent $3,508.92 at the Vdara Hotel & Spa in Las Vegas, despite the event being held further away from Vegas, suggesting they could’ve stayed elsewhere but chose the expensive hotel instead. Her campaign also spent $3,445.59 at another fancy hotel, Asher Adams, in Salt Lake City, Utah. On the same day as the Asher Adams payment, AOC’s campaign recorded a $3,165.76 disbursement to the Leo Kent Hotel in Tucson, Arizona.…
A 23-year-old Ukrainian woman fled the war, came to America, and was killed by a man on public transportation in America. The crime took place in Charlotte, North Carolina. The victim was identified as Iryna Zarutska. The suspect was identified as Decarlos Brown, 34, who has a long criminal history and was arrested over a dozen times. Some critics want the judges who freed this man held accountable. Zarutska had stepped onto the train and sat down in front of Brown. The two did not have any interaction whatsoever. Brown takes something out of his pocket, which could’ve been the…
Rookie wide receiver and cornerback Travis Hunter was supposed to make all the headlines this week, but his wife stole the show instead. The Jacksonville Jaguars dual threat was drafted second this year and helped his team beat the Carolina Panthers 26-10. Except, it seems like his wife put on more of a show than he did! He caught six passes for 33 yards and played six snaps on defense. No one else in the last 20 years had recorded five or more catches AND five defensive snaps in a single game. So he did something somewhat special, but it…
The Supreme Court lifted restrictions on LA immigration stops according to a recent decision by the U.S. Supreme Court that temporarily allows federal immigration agents to resume broad stops in the Los Angeles area—despite concerns about racial profiling and constitutional violations. The Court blocked a lower court’s restraining order that had limited immigration enforcement tactics in LA. This means federal agents no longer need “reasonable suspicion” to stop individuals they believe may be undocumented. U.S. District Judge Maame Frimpong had ruled that agents couldn’t rely solely on ethnicity, language, location (like day laborer pickup sites), or type of work to…
A federal appeals court delivered a major loss to President Donald Trump, upholding an $83.3 million defamation judgment against him in the E. Jean Carroll case. The court found the jury’s damages award “fair and reasonable” given the “extraordinary and egregious” facts of the case. The case stems from Carroll’s 2019 public allegation that Trump sexually assaulted her decades earlier. Trump responded with defamatory statements, which led to the lawsuit. Carroll previously won a separate $5 million judgment in 2023 for sexual abuse and defamation, also upheld by the same appeals court. Trump’s legal team argued presidential immunity and excessive…
Miss United States, Lindsey Langston, is begging a judge to grant a restraining order against Florida Republican Cory Mills. Langston accused Mills of stalking her and threatening to leak explicit materials of her. They dated for a few years, but it went sour and now they’re in court. They testified for about two hours in court and Langston eventually asked for help, suggesting she couldn’t handle this on her own. She believes the restraining order will give her an extra layer of protection. Langston said, “Someone please help me because I don’t know what do and I’m scared.” She claims…
The NFL season kicked off in Philadelphia with the Super Bowl banner being revealed in front of the visiting Dallas Cowboys. The Eagles won 24-20 but the biggest story was Jalen Carter getting ejected before a single snap was played. Carter spit on Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, but many people don’t realize Dak spit too. In fact, Dak spit first, towards Carter’s feet, and then Carter retaliated. Another angle of the Jalen Carter spit video can be seen below: https://twitter.com/Chase_Senior/status/1963951013418692757
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was SLAPPED in the face during the 27-21 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. The game took place in Brazil on Friday night and Taylor Swift’s other half had two catches for 47 yards and a score. But the biggest hit of the night was when the Chargers’ Teair Tart open-hand slapped Kelce square in the face. Kelce also collided with Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy, knocking him out for the game with a shoulder injury. Watch the video below. https://twitter.com/TheEdwardB/status/1964176127640965179
The Phillies beat the Miami Marlins 9-3 and the game ended with one of the most KAREN moments in sports history. The game took place down in Florida and a Phillies dad ran over to grab a homerun ball, then gave it to his son. As with literally EVERY HOMERUN EVER HIT – everyone scrambles for the ball and if there’s a kid around, you give it to them – or you throw it back if you’re a fan of the other team. These are just two of the normal things that people do with homerun balls as it’s really…
Democrat Sen. Patty Murray slammed RFK Jr with the following statement: “RFK Jr. is a serious threat to public health and our lives. He is undermining vaccines, boosting dangerous conspiracy theories, and decimating lifesaving research. Resign or be fired. He needs to go.” Sen. Murray was criticizing President Trump’s Secretary of Health and Human Services after Axios reported that over 1,000 HHS workers demanded RFK Jr. resign. That’s when critics of Patty Murray brought up information from the Open Secrets website that shows the Democratic Senator as the recipient of approximately $1,623,817 coming from connections to pharmaceutical companies. The notation…
