'People are trying to break into homes up here' - looting reported amid Palisades wildfire

Reports are coming in that people are looting homes in the areas being ravaged by the Palisades wildfires. The LAFD needs as much help as they can get. Someone said, “People are trying to break into homes up here!” What word rhymes with loot? That's what people should be allowed to do if they catch someone looting during a disaster.
