A man suspected of shoplifting from Trader Joe’s died being chased by police and struck by a car whose driver wasn’t paying attention.
The incident occurred while San Francisco officers were pursuing the suspect on foot. As they were detaining him, a Lexus SUV drove into the scene, hitting everyone involved and trapping an officer underneath.
The suspect was pronounced dead, while the officers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Everyone joked that it might have been a female Asian driving. But seriously though, how do you mess up THAT BAD?
