(Crankers) Rep. Jasmine Crockett suggested that Democrats are taking care of the American people, but then she was reminded about the history of many Democrat-run cities. There’s a large number of urban cities in America that have been historically run by Democratic mayors. Many of those cities are filthy, crime-ridden, and have streets lined with homeless people and addicts.
As someone who grew up in Philadelphia, I can say this is entirely true. Philadelphia has a history of Democrat mayors and is well-known for streets like Kensington & Allegheny, crime, and it hasn’t gotten any better over the last 20+ years. In fact, the crime has gotten worse and the neighborhoods that were once nice are now being impacted by the crime that’s taking over.
Philadelphia also has great food beyond the cheesesteak, the Eagles, and the Phillies. We don’t care about the Sixers right now because Joel Embiid has a loser mentality, George Paul rarely plays, and the organization is poorly run. Tyrese Maxey can’t save the team on his own. Back to Crockett…

“…But I just need the American people to have longer memories because, as you stated, this Congress ended on the same note that it began, but for some reason we will not have a Speaker Jeffries on January 3 We knew that these Republicans in their slim majority were unable to get anything done and the crazy part is that Nancy Pelosi had the same slim majority but, guess what, we weren’t always in a state of crises and they are going to go into the 119th [Congress] with an even slimmer majority”
Democrats are also quick to dish out millions and billions to other countries while giving less to American cities who suffer tragedies. This is part of the reason why a growing number of Americans voted Republican in the 2024 election. Many Americans feel like the Democratic Party in general is not supportive of actual Americans living in real times, making average wages. To the common American, it typically feels like the Democratic Party has become the party of elites with their noses in the air, helping everyone except for our own.
It feels like Democrats want Americans to do poorly on purpose, so they can promise handouts later at the elections and keep their pristine politician jobs where they never have to do real work. When was the last time Jasmine Crockett actually worked for her paycheck?
