(Crankers) Matt Gaetz pulled his name out of the attorney general hat and has already resigned from his position in Congress. Gaetz now reveals that a return to Congress is not in his plans. There’s something else he’ll be working on that aligns with Donald Trump’s goals. Trump picked Pam Bondi to serve as attorney general once Gaetz pulled out.
Gaetz offered praise to Trump’s new pick for attorney general, saying the following: “Pam Bondi is a stellar selection by President Trump for Attorney General. Pam and I worked closely together when she was Florida’s Attorney General and I chaired Criminal Justice in the state house. She’s a proven litigator, an inspiring leader and a champion for all Americans. She will bring the needed reforms to DOJ.”
Gaetz was reportedly at Mar-a-Lago helping them form a team that could take on the DOJ and perhaps hold them accountable when mistakes are made. Gaetz had said about his future, “We need a leadership structure under President Trump that’s going to allow for durability of our movement… And so I’ll play a part in that. I plan to be a big voice, but maybe not as an elected member of the government.” Gaetz wants to find patriotic Americans who wish to do service for the country, not themselves.
