(Crankers) Dragon’s Shadow is making the rounds as it became the go-to for both PvP and PvE.
On the Bungie webpage, there’s a list of armor perks.
- Wraithmetal Mail – Dodging reloads all weapons and increases both movement and weapon handling speeds for a brief time.
- Plasteel Reinforcement Mod – Increased resilience.
- Unflinching Submachine Gun Aim – Reduces flinching from incoming fire while aiming Submachine guns.
- Primary Ammo Finder – Increases the drop chance of Primary ammo on kill.

One of the reasons why Dragon’s Shadow should be appreciated is down to 50 Mobility. By using Dodge with the Dragon’s Shadow, Hunters with a 50 Mobility stat will automatically have 100. A hunter with 100 Mobility gets a 9-second cool-down, and Wraithmetal Mail lasts 10 seconds. Wraithmetal Mail is only one perk.
You will acquire the Dragon’s Shadow the same way as other normal Exotic loot. There’s no quest you have to take. You can purchase it from Xur if he’s selling it or if an exotic engram drops it. To buy Xur’s engram, you must have the bulk of Hunter’s Exotic Armor. Doing this will raise your chances of obtaining it.
