(Crankers) Chicago’s failing mayor, Democrat Brandon Johnson, said one of the dumbest things you could ever imagine and got mocked all over social media right after the video came out.
Johnson, who’s lightyears worse than Lightfoot, suggested that “we can not incarcerate our way out of violence” and suggested it’s racist to keep locking people up.
Oh, so just protect the criminals by not locking them up and keep putting law-abiding Americans in danger? Got it.
Also, in case anyone hasn’t noticed, we could literally reduce violence by locking up as many criminals as possible. Build as many jails as we need and lock up every criminal you can find. Screw it. If you don’t want to get locked up, then don’t break the law. Or just move to a Democrat city where the DAs and mayors are pathetic and weak.
Brandon Johnson’s statement was so bad that even Nayib Bukele, the President of El Salvador, chimed in. BUKELE said: “You can LITERALLY incarcerate your way out of violence. That’s precisely why incarceration exists in the first place.”
But Bukele didn’t stop with just his words, he also shows statistics on how many people got incarcerated vs how the murder rate went down as the jail rate went up. So yeah, common sense is prevailing over there when it comes to crime. But if you take one step near failing Democrat Mayor Brandon Johnson in Chicago, then you won’t see common sense for miles.
