(Crankers) The chick who stole Ashley Biden’s diary while staying at the Delray Beach residence in Florida just got some bad news, but at least we know the diary is real and what’s in it was repulsive and exposed some raunchy and personal things we weren’t supposed to know, but it’s good that we probably do.
The suspect, named Aimee Harris, allegedly stole Ashley Biden’s diary and that book had some “highly personal entries” – yeah, because it’s a diary and that’s the point of a diary. Duh. Apparently the Ashley Biden diary had some tax records and photos of the family according to what the Department of Justice reported. Apparently Aimee Harris asked Robert Kurlander to help steal the Ashley Biden diary and both of them got slapped with some conspiracy charges back in 2022.
This is where it gets even more interesting. Apparently Project Veritas paid both of them $20,000 each to get the diary and some other materials. I’m not sure what those other materials are. Either way, it got Aimee Harris ONE month jail time and three years of supervised release. Her buddy, Kurlander, hasn’t been charged yet. I’m guessing he’ll probably get the same sentencing unless there’s more info we don’t know about him. It’s important to know that Project Veritas did NOT publish the Ashley Biden diary, but someone else certainly did.
Now here’s the kicker. the judge actually scolded Aimee Harris for stealing the diary, but many of us want to know where’s the scolding for the people doing the wrong things in the diary? Who’s scolding them for their actions? The Hill reported on the stolen Ashley Biden diary in a political news report:
Judge Laura Taylor Swain described Harris’s actions as “despicable” during the sentencing at a Manhattan federal court on Tuesday, The Associated Press (AP) reported. Harris apologized to Ashley Biden during the sentencing and said she regretted her actions, according to the AP.
The DOJ sought a sentence of four to 10 months of imprisonment for Harris, followed by three years of supervised release, according to a letter sent to the judge last week. Assistant U.S. Attorney Robert Sobelman argued Tuesday that Harris showed a “pattern of disrespect for the law and the justice system,” the AP reported. Harris’s lawyers asked for no prison time, with defense attorney Anthony Cecutti saying she “carries the shame and stigma of her actions,” the AP reported.
Stealing someone’s diary is always wrong, but in this case – I’m glad she stole it and exposed what was in it.
