(Crankers) Daniel Penny was acquitted on all charges regarding the incident with Jordan Neely on a subway. Daniel Penny, at some point after the acquittal, was having a beer at a bar with some other people. Whoopi Goldberg saw a photo of this and she reacted to it during an episode of ‘The View.’
Whoopi said, “I don’t know that seeing them celebrating in a bar made me comfortable, you know… I mean, you killed a guy. The man is dead and maybe just – you take the celebration home, you don’t do it outside. But that’s just me.”
Daniel Penny acted in good faith to protect people when Jordan Neely was acting erratic and threatening people. Jordan Neely has a very long criminal history and it’s very unfortunate how this all played out, but the court decided in Daniel Penny’s favor
