(Crankers) MSNBC may want to let this one go. Joy Reid was on video suggesting that Donald Trump would have the United States “military shoot American citizens” and seek and arrest journalists. None of this is truly rooted in factual information, as it doesn’t really make any sense other than for Joy Reid to use rhetoric in hopes of making Donald Trump look bad ahead of taking back the White House in January, 2025.
The only part that does make sense is deploying the military against protesters if they’re being violent or destroying a neighborhood. Naturally, that makes sense because the protesters would then be breaking the law. If there isn’t enough police to control the situation, then the National Guard is likely to be called. And why would journalists be arrested? If there’s no crime, then what would the arrest be based on?
It’s a shame that MSNBC allows Joy Reid to put this type of information out into the public when it’s just Reid’s opinion and not entirely based in reality. It could lead viewers to have a false sense of beliefs that change the way they think – but not in a good way. Watch Joy Reid on video below:
