(Crankers) Former NFL player shreds failing Lori Lightfoot
Former NFL great Jack Brewer ripped an ad put out by Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot touting her record on crime, even as her city’s murder rate and level of violence have increased dramatically during her tenure. The ad says: “But on crime, Mayor Lightfoot’s got a plan. When it comes to new strategies, new technology, Lightfoot’s invested more than any mayor. Those are facts. Anyone who says there’s simple solutions is lying.” Brewer mocked the ad, calling it a “manipulation,” “demonic” and like “witchcraft.” “It’s manipulation,” he said. “I think that is the issue we face right now in cities like Chicago and all over the country is that many of our leaders have the audacity not to address these issues.”
