We do not have video of Mitch McConnell falling down the senate stairs or being wheeled around in a wheelchair. The video above shows he cognitive decline and one of the many reasons he should retire and enjoy his life away from politics. In regards to the fall, we have two sources reporting on that.
Chad Pergram wrote two posts about it on X, saying: "Fox confirms. McConnell falls down Senate stairs after voting to confirm Scott Turner as HUD Secretary. Unclear about injuries. But Fox is told he appears to be ok. McConnell was helped up by Sens. Steve Daines (R-MT) and Markwayne Mullin (R-OK). McConnell office after his fall today: "Senator McConnell is fine. The lingering effects of polio in his left leg will not disrupt his regular schedule of work."
Trending Politics reported: "Initial accounts suggest that McConnell appears to be in stable condition, though specific details regarding any potential injuries have not been disclosed. The 83-year-old senator has had previous health concerns, including a fall in March 2023 that resulted in a concussion and a fractured rib. He underwent physical therapy following that incident and returned to his Senate duties after a period of recovery."
