Defense Dept. kicked out NBC, NPR, NYT, and Politico from Pentagon offices

Looks like some of the leftist media outlets are getting the boot from Pete Hegseth's Defense Department. NBC, NPR, NYT, and Politico are some of the names asked to leave the Pentagon offices so they could make room for other news outlets. There might be more names added to the list, but this is what we know so far. A post on X had some details:

In a significant shakeup at the Pentagon, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced a new annual media rotation program that will see NBC, The New York Times, NPR, and Politico vacate their long-held office spaces. 

 

Effective February 15, 2025, these established outlets will be replaced by The New York Post, One America News Network (OANN), Breitbart News, and HuffPost. 

 

This move is part of an effort to diversify the media presence within the Defense Department, according to Pentagon officials.
