Pete Hegseth confirmed as new Secretary of Defense, in vote of 51-50

SUCCESS! Pete Hegseth was confirmed by the Senate and becomes the new Secretary of Defense. However, Pete Hegseth was betrayed by a few RINO GOP Senators who should be voted out of office as soon as possible. JD Vance's motorcade swooped into town to cast a tiebreaking vote. Hegseth won 51-50.
