Chris Murphy faces tons of criticism and is being accused of siding with terror sympathizers after he posted a groveling video about the Columbia student who was involved in the violent pro-Hamas protest. Murphy said: "There is a young man in jail today for protesting at his college. No charges. No criminal conduct. In dictatorships, they call this “a disappearance”. I want to tell you why this case should matter to you, even if you strongly disagree with what he said or did."

Or maybe Chris Murphy could've told the truth instead. ABC News reported: "ICE agents arrested Mahmoud Khalil -- a leader in the Manhattan university's encampment movement -- on Saturday night, claiming that his student visa had been revoked, his attorney, Amy Greer, said in a statement to ABC News. However, Khalil is in the United States on a green card and not on a student visa, Greer said Sunday. Despite informing agents about his legal status, ICE detained him, she said."
