Dem. Rep. said to bring 'actual weapons' to 'fight for Democracy' - and now he's being investigated

Democrat Rep. Robert Garcia was caught lying to his followers. He said this, but the truth was revealed fairly quickly. "We have a constitutional right to criticize the administration and the actions of Elon Musk. Trump’s Department of Justice should not work to silence Members of Congress. We will not back down."

What Robert Garcia said before that, and why he's being investigated, is this: "I think [Elon Musk is] also harming the American public in an enormous way... And what I think is really important and what the American public want is for us to bring actual weapons to this bar fight. This is an actual fight for democracy, for the future of this country."

Garcia later tried saying it was just a figure of speech, but it doesn't sound like it. Garcia now faces a DOJ investigation.
