Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent confirms the U.S. Mint will "soon" stop production of the penny following President Trump's directive. "It costs about three cents to make one cent — even in Washington, that math doesn't work." Everyone better collect all your pennies. Maybe we can sell them on eBay ten years from now for a dollar. haha!
