CNN has released an exclusive video that shows rapper/dancer Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs beating a woman and dragging her into a what appears to be a hotel room. Diddy, who’s facing all sorts of allegations at the moment, surely didn’t need a video like this to be seen by millions of people, but here we are. It appears a video like this should put Diddy in jail, but the incident in this video was already part of a lawsuit. However, only time will tell what happens next to the entertainment celebrity and the other allegations he’s dealing with.
Who’s the woman being attacked by Diddy in the video? Her name is Cassie Ventura and this video took place in 2016. This situation was already legally settled, but the public may just be seeing this video for the first time after CNN found a way to obtain it and confirm it. CNN’s report on Diddy beating Cassie Ventura said:
A 2016 surveillance video obtained exclusively by CNN shows Sean “Diddy” Combs grab, shove, drag and kick his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura during an altercation that matches allegations in a now-settled federal lawsuit filed by Ventura in November.
The footage, compiled from multiple camera angles dated March 5, 2016, appears to show the rapper, producer and business mogul during an incident that, according to Ventura’s complaint, occurred at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles. CNN verified the location based on publicly available photos of the former hotel’s interior.
Cassie Ventura settled this issue with Sean Combs, but it’s unclear how much money she was given. CNN reached out to her and asked for a comment on the video, but she declined the opportunity to talk about it. She may not be allowed to talk about it, or she may simply want to move on with her life and be done with the Diddy.
Rapper and businessman 50cent has been critical of Diddy for ages, constantly posting hints, jokes, and memes about the downfall of the Diddy. 50cent said on X (follow him here): “Now I’m sure puffy didn’t do it, he is innocent this proves nothing ! This is what his lawyers are gonna say, God help us all“
