Anyone who’s fed up with President Joe Biden’s failed handling of the southern border that’s being exposed and invaded on a daily basis may want to fasten their seat belt for this one. A Democratic Governor named Maura Healy, who represents Massachusetts, made a really tone deaf statement after a horrendous crime apparently happened.
The background of this story is Massachusetts is having a really hard time dealing with the influx of migrants. It’s almost like they would be better off with a closed border, but that makes way too much sense for Democrats to wrap their heads around. There’s now a massive amount of outrage coming from Americans who are fed up with migrants committing crimes. One of the most horrendous crimes was when a disabled teen girl was r*ped by a migrant, allegedly. She’s a disabled 15-year-old who was r*ped and a 26-year-old migrant was charged with the crime. The outrage is pouring faster than a waterfall as crimes like this continue happening, making Americans want the border shut down more than ever.
When Gov. Healey was giving a response on it, she said: “It’s a horrible situation, a horrible allegation and my thoughts are with the victim,” said Healey in her initial comments on the incident. But Healey also sought to downplay the migrant aspect of the story. “We have security and systems in place, we have vetting in place. It is unfortunate that, from time to time, things will happen, and as I say, anywhere, not just in shelters but anywhere.”
I’m glad Healey admit it was a terrible situation, because that’s the only thing she was right about. She should have said “if they weren’t here, then this would not have happened” and that would have been the right answer. But of course, she was a bit tone deaf when she said “things will happen” – OK, well, we don’t want things like that to happen. And I know a way that could have prevented this migrant from allegedly r*ping her. How about if he wasn’t able to get into America so easily?
America has enough criminals of our own. America has enough problems of our own. How about we stop with the immigration for now and get our own country back on track? I think there’s a lot of homeless people, veterans, drug addicts, and other people who need our resources. Let’s close the border for a year and get ourselves situated. We can’t help others until we help ourselves first.
