A video has been released that allegedly shows former NY Jets running back, Zac Stacy, beating an ex-girlfriend in front of a baby, who was on the couch nearby. The video shows a man throwing the woman on the ground multiple times and even into a television, which then fell on top of her as well. The baby can be heard crying in the background.
The video allegedly took place at the woman’s home in Florida and she has since filed for a restraining order, according to a report seen on TMZ Sports. In the report, she claims he punched her multiple times in the head.
The woman claims he had gotten jealous and that’s what could have sparked the violent incident. She said, as per the report, “I begged him to stop because the baby was on the couch just a few feet from where he punched me.” She called the police, but he left before they arrived. It’s unclear why the video was set up.
Stacy is 30 and only played three seasons in the NFL for the NY Jets.
