The Internet is wild with ‘Corpse Bride’ and ‘Weekend at Bernie’s’ jokes today! I thought Brazilian chicks were known for being super attractive and wearing skimpy bikinis, but not this one! Maybe she does that too, but when she’s not on the beach, then she’s in the bank with a dead guy trying to get a loan. You read that right. She dragged a corpse into the bank, called him UNCLE, and tried to get his hand to c0-sign a loan for her. She was moving his head like a puppet too. Absolutely UNREAL.
Times must be tough in Brazil if you’re pulling a “Weekend at Bernie’s” for a co-signer. The Daily Beast reported on the awful incident, saying the following in their news article:
A woman was arrested in Brazil on Tuesday night after she used a wheelchair to take a dead man into a bank in an attempt to get a loan, according to local reports.
Employees at the bank in the Bangu neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro became suspicious of Érika de Souza Vieira Nunes and called the police, according to g1. Paramedics responding to the scene found that the man in the wheelchair—identified as 68-year-old Paulo Roberto Braga—had been dead for several hours
Police are investigating the man’s death and charged the woman with theft by fraud and abuse of a corpse.
