Republican Rep. Jeff Van Drew suggests we’re not being told the truth about the mysterious drones hovering around New Jersey. Van Drew suggested the New Jersey drones are coming from an Iranian mothership somewhere off the east coast – but there’s no evidence to show this is true. In fact, it’s probably one of the dumbest things we have reported on this site.
New Jersey has military and commercial airspace. New Jersey has an FAA technical center in Atlantic City. And New Jersey was selected as an FAA drone mission test site back in 2013 – six years before Van Drew took office. So either he just has no clue what’s going on, or he’s going with the bizarro-world hype and should’ve just Googled it.
Van Drew later doubled down on his claims and slammed the Pentagon officials who said they don’t know where these drones are coming from, let alone from Iran. The Pentagon had denied any claims the drones originated in Iran, but Van Drew still didn’t buy into it.
You know what? It’s possible there are people in government NOW, who didn’t know what was put in place back in 2013. It’s very possible that anyone now who doesn’t know was never told yet, they forgot, or it’s just so far out of sight and out of mind. Nevertheless, Van Drew persisted…
Van Drew spoke with Fox News, saying: “These drones very well could be launched from a ship. It could be hundreds of miles out at sea. These types of drones go much greater distances … Could it be China? Absolutely. Could it be somebody else? It sure could.”
