ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith had a lot to say about President Joe Biden, Democrats, and politics in general. It was very weird to see him on a political pundit’s show as he spoke with Sean Hannity, but it happened. The Fox News description for the video on YouTube said “ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith speaks out on ‘Hannity’ about Biden’s cognition, competence for presidency.”
Stephen A. Smith also talked about President Joe Biden during an episode of his podcast and said loud and clear that America needs a new president, shunning the 80-year-old Democrat in the process. Quotes from Smith’s outspoken podcast episode were quoted by The Hill in a sports news article:
ESPN host Stephen A. Smith said the country needs to have a new president in 2024 based on President Biden’s age, but he expects he may potentially support the incumbent against the possible Republican candidates.
Smith said during an episode of his podcast on Friday that he supports someone other than Biden being elected president next year, noting that Biden, who is already the oldest president the country has had, would be 82 at the start of his potential second term.
“Somebody’s gotta say it, so I’m gonna say it: We need a new president in 2024. We need a new president,” he said.
Smith defended Biden when he fell over a sandbag the other week, but suggest that the 80-year-old Democratic president just isn’t all there anymore and needs to step aside. Smith admits voting for Biden, but then said he would probably vote for him again because the Republican candidate “scare the living hell outta” him with their politics, even though their politics are mostly rooted in common sense and trying to reduce spending that has gotten out of control by the government. Either way, that’s Stephen A. Smith’s opinion on the matter and he will vote whichever way he wants, same as everyone else in America.
