NFL decides Jalen Carter’s punishment for spitting on Dak Prescott

By Frank BojaziSeptember 10, 2025 Sports

(Crankers.com) Superstar defensive lineman Jalen Carter spit on Dak Prescott in the NFL season opener. Carter got ejected before he played a single snap, but the Eagles still pulled out a victory.

The NFL decided to fine Jalen Carter and considered his ejection to be just as good as a one game suspension. Carter didn’t play a single snap in the game, so he basically missed the entire game.

He’ll be fined $57,222 according to Adam Schefter, who posted the following message on X: “NFL is fining Eagles DT Jalen Carter $57,222 for spitting on Dak Prescott. The league also says the game he was ejected for will serve as a one-game suspension. “After talking to the Eagles, the NFL and the NFLPA, Jalen has decided not to appeal and focus on the Chiefs game,” said Carter’s agent Drew Rosenhaus.”
