A movie will be made about this rescue operation. On Good Friday, an F-15 fighter jet was shot down over Iranian airspace. One pilot was successfully recovered, but the other went missing. This led to a massive search-and-rescue operation. During the effort, another aircraft, an A-10 Warthog, came under fire and had to ditch in the Persian Gulf. Fortunately, that pilot was safely rescued.
