(Crankers) Modern dating sites aren’t what they used to be. Back in the day you had classified ads in newspapers. Then you had sites like Craigslist and places like AOL Chatrooms to meet people. After that came dating websites where you sat on the computer reading profiles, looking at pictures, and seeing who a good match would be.
Now the online dating field is dominated by some of the worst apps in existence, where people just endlessly swipe pictures of people’s faces and never really get to know WHO they’re talking to. They only want to meet WHAT they’re talking to. And then you factor in all the weirdos who send d*ck pics to girls who never asked for them – while not getting much back in return – and it’s a complete sh*tshow, a waste of time, and it just sucks.
I got lucky meeting my girlfriend on Facebook’s dating section, but at least I knew she was a real person, and we weren’t just swiping each other left and right. Or were we haha! I never sent her a picture of my eggplant, nor anyone else, as I always thought I would end up getting arrested or something. Either way, the dating online experience sounds so horrible right now and I’m fortunate to not have to suffer through it.
