Senator Mitt Romney faces the heat of conservative critics after his statements about an impeachment on President Joe Biden. Romney spoke with NBC’s Kristen Welker during an episode of “Meet the Press” and the former Massachusetts governor did not disappoint his Democrat friends on the other side of the political aisle. Looks like Mitt Romney will face a jury of his peers after this one, and that’s no surprise to Mitt – after all, he’s been labeled a traitor and RINO by the very same peers and critics who believe he’s more of a Democrat in hiding.
Despite all the issues President Joe Biden faces, and his White House being consistently criticized for failing to fix many of the looming issues, and any possible investigations being done by Republicans – Mitt Romney simply sounds like he does not support any sort of impeachment against President Joe Biden. And here’s why – Romney said this to Kristen Welker: “I don’t see any evidence [justifying an impeachment inquiry]. I think, before you begin an impeachment inquiry, you ought to have some evidence … We’re not going to impeach someone because of the sins of their kids.”
However, the impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden would likely be targeted towards any potential crimes that Joe could be accused of in connection with Hunter Biden or any other family members or friends. If Joe Biden is impeached, it’s not because of what Hunter Biden does or did – it’s because of Joe Biden and his own involvement, if Republicans can indeed prove it.
Romney has been labeled a RINO and Trump-hater, so it makes sense that Romney would sound like he’s against a Biden impeachment. On the contrary, Romney should be eating crow because former President Donald was impeached and Romney knows how that played out. Where was the evidence for Donald Trump’s impeachment? Where was the evidence of the hoax nonsense that Democrats pushed against Donald Trump in this ongoing political war that is doing nothing but bringing the country down instead of picking Americans up?
