Rock star Dave Grohl BBQ’s for 500+ homeless people, protect this man at all costs!
Dave Grohl, the beloved frontman of the Foo Fighters, once again demonstrated his heroism by volunteering at a Los Angeles shelter for over 24 hours to prepare a barbecue feast for hundreds of homeless individuals. On February 22, Grohl had brisket, pork butt, ribs, and other meats delivered to Hope the Mission’s Trebek Center in Northridge, California. According to Grace Ancheta, the director of development at Hope the Mission, Grohl arrived at 3 p.m. and spent the entire day in the kitchen prepping the meat. He even stayed overnight to smoke the meat and ensure it was perfectly seasoned. Despite a major winter storm that moved through Southern California, Grohl and his team continued to smoke the meat until it was ready at about 3 p.m. the next day, just in time for dinner. Ancheta remarked that Grohl was a true craftsman and that he was committed to making sure the meals were ready for the shelter’s residents.
This dude is an absolute legend. Protect this man at all costs!
